Motes

Will he always be my baby?

Swim Time

Guess I should be more regular...and not in the bathroom. Here is some latest of the kids out in the backyard. Oh so precious, if I might say so!

When the heck did she get this big? Time goes quickly...

Juicy Mohawk Treat

Just had to share...

Izmoto turns Tres

My little baby is all grown up. He actually asked for a Birfday party this year so I gave in. We had a whole yard full of kids and parents and craziness. As you can see, Isaac loves the ladies...

He loved EVERY second of his party and, almost a month later, he asks for his next party. He plays birthday party, and wants me to make cake with MaKeen and Mater on it. Thanks to his generous friends he got every toy, bike, skateboard, goodness he could have ever dreamed of...and more!

Liv had a GREAT time..."Mom, do I have to go to IZ's party?"

Swaney Family Vacation

Back in June we took a family vacation. We went camping at Carlsbad for five days with our friends, the Rimoldi's, and then off to a condo in Oceanside for a week with the whole Swaney family.

Some of the Carlsbad highlights: Liv likes camping, Isaac is more connected to the hip, than ever before, to Julia Rimoldi and Ruby's makes a mean Sundae.

The Swaney gathering would not be complete without a trip to Legoland.

Dad Swaney retired and we had a big shindig at the Jolly Roger. I believe that he truly enjoyed himself!

With Em and fam in town, and Mike and his family, Punky and Bobby, it was a large and lively group. Fun was had by all.

Reunited

As a child one often has a best friend. Mine was Kim Boland. I think we became friends when she was 2 and I was in my mother's womb, or something like that. Some of my earliest memories with her have to be camping at Indian Hills, deciding that we were tomboys, riding our bikes all over Coronado, and the Nature Company wands. I think that the last we really hung out was in high school. Now, 10 or so years later, we have reunited. We both have kids now and my youngest is just a few days apart from her son. She happened to be in town and we hooked up. Our time was filled with conversation...after all we had 10 years to catch up on. I am looking forward to a lifetime friendship and am happy that we are connected again! Here is my youngest with her only.

Here we are then and now!
